Mondays, bleh. I will never understand what it is that makes this day so dreary. It nearly takes a bulldozing team to get me out of bed once every seven days – and that’s just on a regular Monday. So one can imagine the effort it took on a Monday like today where there is a pivotal afternoon Tigers ALCS game (against the Texas Rangers). Though if that isn’t enough, my beloved hometown Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears this evening on Monday Night Football. It’s a great day to be a Detroiter, but it’s an even greater day to be in my bed. Just another case of the Mondays.
